Booking and ticketing instructions 

[B]Step 1: Book flights[/B]

Book flight segments in the appropriate upgrade class of service. The appropriate upgrade booking classes are listed below.
Customer pays for:
• World Traveller Fare - Upgrade to T for World Traveller plus
• World Traveller Fare - Upgrade to I for Club World (only if flight does not operate with a World Traveller Plus cabin )
• World Traveller Plus Fare - Upgrade to I for Club World
• Club World Fare - Upgrade to A for FIRST
Please note the member who earned the upgrade must travel. 
Only 1 Gold cardholder redeeming vouchers is allowed per PNR. 
Upgrade must only be to the next cabin, Debit Memo will be raised if more than 1 cabin. 

Airlines: Certificates are valid on British Airways and franchise operated flights only. 
They cannot be used with bookings containing any other carrier.

[B]Step 2: Enter keyword in the PNR[/B]

Please note that Gold Cardholder's Name is added as free format text to ensure that we can successfully allocate the upgrade.

• Sabre:- 3OSI BA GCUV. SMITH/AMR
• Worldspan: - 3OSI BA GCUV.SMITH/AMR
• Amadeus - SK GCUV BA-SMITH/AMR
Once you have added the keyword, end transaction and the booking will be automatically queued to British Airways for processing.

[B]Step 3: Store Fare Quote[/B]

Please store your Fare quote. Ensure that you have priced the PNR at the lower cabin fare level. Outlined below are suggested entries in order to price your PNR correctly.
• Galileo:FQCBA=MEUNBA
• Amadeus: FXP/L-MEUNBA
• Worldspan: 4P*--MEUNBA#NRX and then 4/AOK
• Sabre: WSQMEUNA
Note: You must collect the correct tax levels for the cabin that the customer travels in. i.e. if upgraded 
to Club World, ensure Club World taxes are charged. 
It is important that you have a stored fare, otherwise passenger 
will not be awarded the correct mileage and points.

[B]Step 4: Confirmation of Upgrade[/B]

Once the upgrade has been authorised will be added to the PNR. This will be in the form of an SSR comment 
and will be indicated in your booking similar to the example below: 

UPGRADE OK PLS ISSUE TICKETS AND ENSURE CORRECT TAX AMOUNTS ARE COLLECTED

You MUST NOT issue a ticket until this comment is present.
If we are unable to process the request, you will receive on of the following error messages.

[B]Step 5: Ticketing[/B]

Deal Number: Please add deal number 3690315 to ticket in all instances except if you 
are issuing against a negotiated deal. 
In these instances, please add the relevant deal number of your negotiated fare. 

Once the ticket issued name changes are not permitted. 
If name change is required you must cancel the booking and issue new tickets. 
You will need to cancel the PNR and advise the customer to contact their Executive Club service centre.
