ATTENTION! The travel authorization submitted on May 20, 2014 via ESTA will expire within the next 30 days. It is not possible to extend or renew a current ESTA travel authorization. You will need to apply for a new ESTA travel authorization. Please reapply at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov if travel to the United States is intended in the near future. If there are 30 or more days left on the old authorization you will receive a warning message during the application and be asked if you wish to proceed.
Danke. Dachte erst es müsste eine Mindestgültigkeit haben ergo den gesamten Monat erfassen.
Hab eben nur eine Notification bekommen das es in 30 Tagen abläuft und morgen gehts dann gen US.
Leider konnte ich meinen Boardingcard für den Flug nach USA nicht drucken weil wegen security check. Bei meiner +1 ging es.

Vorsicht! Nur weil es im Prinzip möglich ist, bedeutet es nicht, dass es deshalb problemlos geht. Ich hatte schon mal ein "fast aber nicht ganz abgelaufenes ESTA", was dann beim Check-In einige Irritationen verursachte. Letztendlich hat die Fluggesellschaft mit den USA telefoniert und man hat mich reingelassen, aber ich würde mir den Stress nicht machen. Und ein neues ESTA ist ja in ein paar Minuten gemacht.
