Wer in 2019 nach Hong Kong will und im Intercontinental übernachten will, könnte Probleme bekommen:

"In October 2014, Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) appointed an international property consultant to put its flagship Hong Kong hotel, the 503 room InterContinental Hong Kong on the harbourside at Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, up for sale in line with its policy of asset disposal. The property had been acquired by Intercontinental Hotels from New World Development in 2003 having previously operated as the Regent Hotel. In July 2015 agreement was reached to sell the hotel for US$938 million to a consortium of investors Supreme Key, advised and managed by Gaw Capital Partners. Although ownership of the hotel will be transferred, IHG will retain a 37-year management contract with extension rights for three further ten year periods. Management fees earned by IHG are initially expected to be about US$8 million annually but increasing after the new owners have completed a refurbishment programme. Renovation work is expected to commence in early 2019 and last for 12-16 months during which time the hotel will close."
