QR: Wann wurde denn DOH-KIX eingestellt?

Ist mir bei einer Suche gerade aufgefallen. Richtung Japan geht nur DOH-TYO.
2011 bin ich definitiv noch von Doha zum Kansai-Flughafen geflogen. Sehr voll war das Flugzeug nicht, vielleicht 50% Auslastung. Das war aber auch wenige Monate nach Fukushima.

QATAR Airways Reduces Osaka Service Jan – Mar 2016 :: Routesonline

QATAR Airways on Monday (30NOV15) has confirmed service suspension on Doha – Osaka Kansai route, effective 31MAR16. Reservation for this route has been closed on/after this date, previously reported on Airline Route on 09NOV15. Prior to service suspension, the oneWorld member will reduce operation from 7 to 5 weekly, starting 12JAN16.

As per 11JUL11 GDS timetable display, QATAR Airways during the month of August 2011 is temporary restoring capacity to Japan, with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft operating Daily Doha – Osaka – Tokyo Narita service.

This route switched to smaller Airbus A330-200 due to drop of demand earlier this year, after March Earthquake. The A330 is currently scheduled to operate in Sep/Oct 2011, and to return to 777 from the launch of Winter schedule.

August Schedule as follows:

QR802 DOH0050 – 1640KIX1750 – 1920NRT 77W D
QR803 NRT2050 – 2230KIX2355 – 0515+1DOH 77W D

Service on 01AUG11 operates with Boeing 777-200LR.
