TAP Portugal, a member of Star Alliance, and the Brazilian airline GOL are set to begin a business partnership that covers code-sharing and loyalty programmes during the current IATA summer season. The partnership will offer many benefits and advantages to customers of both airlines and will go into effect as soon as the authorisations have been obtained from the government authorities of the two countries.

At the same time, the two airlines will implement an agreement linking their loyalty programmes, TAP’s Victoria and GOL’s Smiles that will significantly increase their customers’ opportunities to earn and use miles on both airlines’ networks.
