Air India employee strike ends May 26 after High Court intervenes.

A strike by some 20,000 Air India (AI) employees, including maintenance engineers and crew members, was called off May 26 after the Delhi High Court ordered employees back to work.

The order also prohibits employees from carrying out a strike planned to begin May 31.

Since May 25, the strike disrupted around 130 flights, mostly domestic service, and affected at least 13,000 passengers. Lingering flight disruptions are likely as the airline clears back-logs.

Advice
Confirm all Air India flights. Allow additional time for travel.
