French National Strike: 27th May 2010

Trains: The SNCF expects to run a near-normal service on long-distance TGV routes, except Paris-Nice and Paris-Nantes where a third of trains will be cancelled. Expect about two-thirds of Corail services to run, 75% of regional TER trains and 80% of Transilien services in the Ile-de-France.

Flights: Some French air traffic controllers in France are set to strike on May 27. Consequently the French Civil Aviation Authority may place limits on the number of flights of each airline can operate during this period.

A passenger report will be run and distributed to the relevant branches.

Due to the high delays generated by the French strike , delays are up to 5 hours, the Flow-Helpdesk is overloaded with phonecalls.
Please do not call the helpdesk when your flight is going through a French regulation.
All these regulations are completely full, and there is no improvement possible in most of the cases

Und ganz Europa ist mal wieder im Chaos(>50 Minuten Delay auf internationale Flüge).

Sie flogen gaaanz viel außenrum bei uns durch....

Also Flieger wie BRU-GVA über Karlsruhe und auch die ganzen Mühlen auf Routings LON/MAN-ZRH/GVA gingen über Deutschland. Die komplette Noramerikaflotte aus der Schweiz und aus Itlaine floge via Deutschland und auch Routings aus NRW Richtung Spanien schluegn erstmal ein westliches Routing ein - ein ziemlich großer Demand nach Luftraum am gestrigen Tag in Deutschland also. Wie fast immer wenn die Franzosen wieder mal streiken.
