Passengers departing Samoa will no longer pay a separate departure tax at the airport from 01 January 2013. The departure tax will be incorporated into the ticket price and will no longer be collected at the airport. The tax amount included in the ticket price for adults (12 years of age or older on the date of travel) will be WST65.00 and WST15.00 for children (aged 2 – 11 years of age on the date of travel).
