Nobu opens in Budapest
The world-famous Japanese restaurant is due to open in September 2010 in the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus.
Nobu, the world’s most recognized Japanese restaurant known for its innovative new style Japanese cuisine, started as a business partnership in 1994 between chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa and his partners. The chef of the empire with 22 restaurants worldwide, who has become famous under the name Nobu, merges traditional Japanese techniques with South American flavours in his kitchen.
The Budapest site will be the first Nobu Restaurant in Central-Europe. With a ground space of 500 m2, Nobu Budapest will consist of a 56-seat bar and a restaurant with 81 seats including a private room and the sushi bar.
