Important notice concerning your Vault account

We would like to inform you that we’ve been affected by the latest news over aspects of Wirecard AG’s Financial Statements. Unfortunately, in accordance to that, we’re currently experiencing a global issue with our card platform, which has affected your ability to use your Vault card and some of Vault app functionalities.

On 26 June 2020, the UK FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) imposed a number of requirements on Wirecard Card Solutions Ltd. including, that the firm:

must not dispose of any assets or funds
must not carry on any regulated activities
must set out a statement on its website and communicate to customers that it is no longer permitted to conduct any regulated activities.

Although these reports have affected all of us, we want to assure you that all client funds are safely held in safeguarding accounts in central Bank of Lithuania.

Unfortunately, these regulatory requirements means that no more card transactions or debit card loads will be permitted until further notice. Also, temporarily bank transfers will not be processed and FX platform will not work on Vault app.

Like many financial organizations around the world, deVere E-Money uses Wirecard to issue prepaid cards. Due to the ongoing situation with Wirecard in Germany, and the current investigation by financial regulators and others, some of our clients might experience a temporary suspension of Vault card and app services until this is resolved. We continue to closely monitor developments.

As always, our priority remains protecting the interests of clients.

We will continue to update you on the details of what this mean for you during this interim period. For now, please carry a backup card.

Thank you for your understanding.

Yours sincerely,
deVere Vault team
