Sehr schöner Tarif. Dank NYC billige Positionierung möglich und SJO stufe ich als interessanter ein als die Nacht in TPA oder ONT. Bezweifle aber das der Tarif ähnlich lange verfügbar ist wie der ONT<>TPA Run.

Wo ist denn das Routing NYC-PHL-WAS/BWI-RDU/GSO-CLT-CHI-DEN-LAS-PHX-SAN-LAX-MEX(YY)SJO buchbar ? Auf den gängigen Seiten finde ich nur 2 Stops auf dem Hinweg und einen Stop auf dem Rückweg. Bei der Multistop Buchung auf der Webseite der Airline ergeben die Segmente einzeln eingegeben einen deutlich höheren Preis. :confused:

Bei der Multistop Buchung auf der Webseite der Airline ergeben die Segmente einzeln eingegeben einen deutlich höheren Preis. :confused:

Hat das noch niemand herausgefunden bzw. gebucht. Auch auf FLT wird nicht viel Wirbel um diesen Tarif gemacht, obwohl er ja schier endlose Möglichkeiten auftut und eine sehr guten ROI (Return of Investment) hat.

ist ein bisschen OT, passt aber noch hier hin, deswegen:
Sehe ich es richtig, dass es bei dem FFP von Asiana bei US keine minimum miles gibt und sich der run bei Asiana deswegen nicht lohnt?

Für nen Mileage Run ist das sicherlich interessant.

Lässt sich z.B. wie folgt routen:

LGA-DCA
DCA-RDU
RDU-CLT
CLT-ORD
ORD-DEN
DEN-PHX
PHX-SJO

und das Selbe natürlich wieder in umgekehrter Richtung.

Die insgesamt dann 14 Segmente sollten irgendwo zwischen 34-35K Meilen geben für rund 500 EUR inkl. Tax.

Hm, selbst die F-Flüge mit US sind für mich alten Mann eher belastend, so dass es kein Nachteil darstellt, auf halber Strecke, (also in PHX, wenn ich JFK-PHX-SJO fliege) den Rollator bei angenehmen Temperaturen um das ASU-Gelände in Tempe schieben und eine Nacht in einem Pflegeheim verbringen zu können.

Zählt CR als domestic? Oder gibt's da wieder ne Immigration, wenn man aus continental USA kommt?

Domestic ist wie gesagt Domestic. Selbst aus Kanada hast Du erneut die Einreisekontrolle, dito bei Costa Rica.

Nur bei den US-Territorien wie z.B. den US Virgin Islands oder Puerto Rico entfällt die erneute Einreisekontrolle.
