Ich überlege folgendes Routing zu fliegen:

11.11. TXL-LED Ankunft 17:30
12.11. LED-DME-MUC Abflug in DME 17:15

TIMATIC spuckt mir dazu folgendes aus:

National Germany (DE) /Embarkation Germany (DE)
Transit Russian Fed. (RU) /Destination Germany (DE)

Russian Fed. (RU)


TWOV (Transit Without Visa):
Visa required, except for Holders of onward tickets for a max.

transit For details, click here time of 24 hours.
- TWOV not applicable if transit is to/from Belarus.
- There are no transit facilities available at Krasnodar

(KRR). Passengers are required to clear Immigration and

Customs.
- If in transit to/from Belarus; or if the airport of arrival
is different from the airport of departure within the same
Russian city, then a Russian (transit) visa is required.





Russian Fed. (RU)


Vaccinations not required.



Germany (DE)



Passport required.
- Nationals of Germany must hold passports and/or passport

replacing documents valid on arrival.
- Expired German passports (no limit) are accepted.
- Temporary Passports ("Vorlaufiger Reisepass") and Travel
Permits in Lieu of Passport ("Reiseausweis als Passersatz")
issued to nationals of Germany must be valid on arrival.

- Expired (max. 1 year) German National Identity Card

("Personalausweis") and "Kinderausweis" are accepted.
Passport Exemptions:

- Nationals of Germany holding:

- Identity Cards ( Personalausweis );

- Temporary Passports ("Vorlaufiger Reisepass");
- Identity Card for Children ( Kinderausweis ) issued to

children up to 16 years of age (for children under 10 years
of age; no photo required).
- Travel Permit Issued in Lieu of Passport ("Reiseausweis als
Passersatz") or Travel Permit Issued in Lieu of Passport
for Entry into the Fed. Rep. of Germany ("Reiseausweis als
Passersatz zur Einreise in die Bundesrepublik
Deutschland").

VISA NOT REQUIRED.

So wie ich das verstehe wäre es theoretisch erlaubt einen TWOV in Russland für unter 24h zu haben, selbst wenn Start und Zielland identisch sind und das ganze sogar lediglich mit einem Personalausweis. Nur wird das in der Realität auch so funktionieren?

mit ziemlicher sicherheit funktioniert das nicht ... ich würde es nicht ausprobieren wollen.

transit verlangt dass du in ein drittland ausreist - DE-RU-DE ist kein transit - wohl aber DE-RU-AT oder DE-RU-CH.

ausserdem wage ich zu bezweifeln, dass du ohne visa den transitbereich des flughafens verlassen darfst - was du zweifelsohne für das LED-DME domestic segment machen musst.

Transit Visas: If you intend to transit through Russia by land en route to a third country, you must have a Russian transit visa issued by a Russian Embassy or Consulate. Russian law does not require you to have a transit visa if you are transiting through one international airport in Russia, whereby you will not leave the customs zone, and will depart within 24 hours to an onward international destination. However, travelers and customs officials alike often misinterpret this law. Therefore, we strongly recommend that all travelers obtain a Russian transit visa even if you are transiting in less than 24 hours, given the possibility of unexpected flight delays, rerouting, or other unforeseen travel challenges that could cause you to be stranded in an airport for an extended period of time or create other complications. U.S. citizens need a transit visa for flights from Russia to Belarus, which are considered domestic flights by Russian and Belarusian bilateral agreements. Foreigners who arrive in Russia without a valid visa and who do not meet visa-free transit requirements, may be forced to return to the point of origin at their own expense.

Ja das hat mich auch verwundert, allerdings habe ich bei der Abfrage klar "Germany" sowohl als Embarkation als auch als Destination angegeben.
Das DE-RU-AT bereits als TWOV geklappt hat, habe ich schon gehört. Das ist natürlich nochmal eine nummer höher...

selbst wenn DE-RU-DE funktionieren würde kämst du ohne visa niemals auf den domestic flug LED-DME.

Einmal das "for details click here" anklicken und du würdest die Definition von TWOV finden:

R32) TWOV
....

Transit Without Visa (TWOV): Passing through an international
transit area of the airport in order to board a connecting (or

to proceed by the same) flight, without entering the country
(i.e. clearing immigration).

Unless stated otherwise, passengers wishing to TWOV must:
- be en-route to a third country (e.g. itinerary TYO-LON-TYO

is not considered TWOV);
- prove that they will continue their journey within the

prescribed period (e.g. hold onward tickets);

- have documents required for entry into the country of
destination and for transit through countries en-route;

- remain in the transit area (airside) or on the aircraft.

Wir hatten diese Diskussion hier schon mal vor einiger Zeit - das Ergebnis war auch praktisch eindeutig: Rückflug ins gleiche Land zählt nicht als Transit und sprengt die Regelung.

Stimmt, ich kenn das :cry:

Interessanterweise kann es durchaus sein, dass alle Kontrollstellen das vorher akzeptieren und du dann vor Ort angesch... bist.
