I was on that flight.
In the air this was handled perfectly - started circling ZRH, prompt and reassuring announcement after 10 mins and approachable cabin staff made sure passengers were ok.
Different story on the ground: off the plane, no LX person in sight to direct passengers.
Some went back to the gate, some to transfer A and some (including two of us) to the lounge.
Lounge person was unaware of anything but promised to look into it.
2 mins later announcement to go to transfer A.
Lounge staff suggested us to go there as she still had no idea of what was going on.
On the way to transfer A we walked into a bunch of passengers just coming from there with instructions to go to the gate.
Joined them, went through security (only one line open, complete zoo).
Once in, announcement to go to transfer A. Again, no LX rep in sight, only security who were clueless.
Ok, everybody out (backwards through security), walking towards transfer A.
Before reaching there, announcement to go back to the gate - which, you may have guessed, involved yet another security screen (the third for this flight).
Again only one lane was open, only after 2/3 of the passengers made it through they opened a second lane. Once again, a complete zoo.

Once on the plane I was surprised that it was the same crew. Aircraft was changed to 320 which meant business lost the free middle seat and some people were somewhat unhappy. I didn't mind and was happy to be on the way after 24 h travelling.

So LX will get a letter to praise the flight crew but also another one to complain about the ground handling and the complete absence of any staff to provide guidance and avoid the confusion.

Also, I thought the lounge staff could have been offering more help to a LH SEN.

I'll update on any reply I may get (possible over on another forum).
