Aktuelle Situation

Nach Evaluation der aktuellen Lage in Japan wird SWISS ab 14. März bis auf weiteres einen angepassten Flugplan mit Zwischenstopp in Hongkong operieren.

Kunden die auf einem direkt Flug (LX 160/161) zwischen Zürich und Tokio Narita gebucht waren, werden automatisch auf diese neuen Flüge umgebucht (LX 2762/2763).

Umbuchung und Annullation für Flüge von/nach Tokio Narita

Sollten sie ihre Reispläne aufgrund der Situation ändern wollen, bietet SWISS Ihnen nachfolgende Optionen:

Für Flüge gebucht vor dem 11.03.2011 mit Abflug bis zum 20.03.2011 bietet SWISS Ihnen eine kostenlose Umbuchung auf einen späteren Flug von/nach Tokio Narita bis zum 31.05.2011 oder die Annullation Ihres Flugtickets.

Für Passagiere in Japan: wenn Sie in Japan sind und Ihren Flug umbuchen oder annullieren möchten, können Sie die lokale SWISS Vertretung in Tokio kontaktieren. Darüber hinaus hat SWISS eine spezielle Telefonnummer eingerichtet: +617 3329 6431 (in englischer Sprache, lokale Telefonnummer in Brisbane/Australien).

Achtung: LX fliegt nun nach Osaka statt Tokio!

cURRENT Situation

A revised schedule for SWISS services to and from Japan will be in in place with immediate effect. After an evaluation of the current situation in Japan, flight LX2762 of March 20, 2011 from Zurich will now operate to Osaka, Kansai International (KIX) and not Tokyo Narita (NRT). The flight LX 2763 on March 21, 2011 will operate from Osaka to Zurich. Flights to and from Osaka will include an interim stop in Hong Kong.

The decision was made based on the current uncertainty regarding the weather conditions and a potential exposure to radaiation within the Tokyo area. This decision was taken in consultation with the responsible Swiss authorities.

We are in constant contact with the local and Swiss authorities and are studying developments in Japan with care. We will update you on our next flights to Japan on March 21 in the morning (Swiss time) via this page.

Passengers with tickets the previously operated non-stop flights

Passengers originally booked on a non-stop flight (LX 160/161) between Zurich and Tokyo Narita will be automatically rebooked on the new flight with an interim stop in Hong Kong (LX 2762/2763).

Rebooking or cancellation of flights to/from Tokyo Narita

If you wish to change your travel plans due to the current situation, SWISS offers you the following option:

Flights booked before 11.03.2011 for departure up until 30.06.2011: These flights can be cancelled or rebooked free of charge to a later flight to/from Tokyo Narita. The rebooked travel must commence by 30 June 2011 and the rebooking must be made before the original ticket's validity expires.

Refunding of tickets

If you wish to have your ticket refunded, please request this from the Service Center handling your cancellation. If you booked your flight through an (online) travel agency, please contact the travel agendy to arrange your refund.
