Rail&Fly is the fast and stress-free way to travel straight to the airport or city centre. Fly from around the world to any airport in Germany and continue your journey with the train just starting from 30 € to almost everywhere in Germany. Book your Rail&Fly ticket when booking your flight!
In cooperation with Deutsche Bahn (DB), Turkish Airlines is offering its passengers the opportunity to travel with Deutsche Bahn to more than 5.600 DB train stations in Germany from any German airport serviced by Turkish Airlines.
Simply choose “Railway Germany (QYG)” and the train segment will be included in your itinerary.
Important information
Rail&Fly is only valid in combination with an international flight on Turkish Airlines.
The journey times stated in your booking are fictitious times due to some technical reasons. Please go to www.bahn.de to check the times of train connections on the actual travel date.
DB Rail&Fly tickets are only valid in DB trains and not in regional or local connections within a local transport authority, like S-Bahn (urban railway), underground railway or tram. Exceptions might be applicable for connections from/to the airport.
Please note that Rail&Fly cannot be added to a completed booking afterwards.
Please note that with a Rail&Fly booking you cannot book excess baggage.

Please note that your itinerary has to include “Rail and Fly (QYG)” to be inclusive of the train ticket. The fare that is mentioned in the booking process is only then including the train ticket.
How to get my Rail and Fly tickets?
Two options are offered for collecting your ticket. 72 hours before the respective journey, you can either
1. Pick up your Rail&Fly ticket at a DB long-distance vending machine or
2. Print your Rail&Fly ticket out from the internet
You can find detailed information on the different options for collecting your ticket in the following sections.
For the return journey, you can choose a different ticket type than for your outbound journey. Once you have printed the ticket for one journey the other ticket option will be cancelled and it is not possible to switch to the other ticket type afterwards.
1. Pick up your Rail&Fly ticket at a DB long-distance vending machine
After completing your booking, you will receive a confirmation e-mail as well as a second e-mail from Turkish Airlines which is indicating one pickup number per direction, that is two pickup numbers per person for return journeys.
Use these pickup numbers to collect your Rail&Fly train ticket from 72 hours prior to departure at any DB long-distance ticket machine at your DB departure station. Please ensure that such a long-distance ticket machine can be found at your departure station.
If you have not received an e-mail by Turkish Airlines with your pickup numbers, please contact your local Turkish Airlines office or call center.
2. Conveniently print your Rail&Fly ticket out at home from the internet
Open the website www.accesrail.com/checkin, enter your name and flight ticket number or booking reference (PNR) and print the tickets either directly from a separate browser window or sent it to your Email address for printing later. For this option you do not need the pickup numbers. The Rail&Fly ticket must be printed before you start your rail journey.
Choose your train connections
Due to technical reasons your itinerary is showing fictitious train numbers (starting with 9B), fictitious departure points (QYG) and fictitious times for the train segment. This data is not valid, please go to http://www.bahn.de to check the times of train connections on the actual travel date.
Please check at which airport your flight is arriving and from which airport your flight is departing. When choosing Rail&Fly your arrival airport might be different from your departure airport, please consider this for your travel planning.
Ensure that you are arriving in time at the airport. Please note the check-in times of Turkish Airlines at the respective airport and choose a train connection so as to arrive at the check-in desk at least 2 hours before it closes.
Please also consider that train delays might occur. It is solely the responsibility of the passenger to arrive at the airport in time for checking in.
Turkish Airlines is not liable for any missed flights due to delayed trains.
Class of Travel
The class of the Rail&Fly tickets depends on the class of service of the flight ticket (Airline Business Class = Train 1st Class, Airline Economy Class = Train 2nd Class)
Documents Required For The Rail Journey

  • Train Ticket (Must be printed or collected before the commencement of the rail journey.)
  • Electronic Ticket Passenger Itinerary Receipt (Provided by Turkish Airlines / your Travel agent.)
  • ID Card and/or passport
Unused Rail and Fly Tickets
