Communications service provider, Gogo has received an STC from the FAA and certification from the Japanese Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB), the aviation authority in Japan, to install its Ku-satellite based connectivity service on Japan Airlines' 777-300 aircraft. The 777-300 is the second aircraft type in JAL's fleet to receive FAA and JCAB approval for installation. Gogo has partnered with JAL to install connectivity service and Gogo vision, Gogo's wireless in-flight entertainment service, on JAL's domestic fleet, and the certification is a key milestone in the installation process.
