Dear fantus,

At ExpertFlyer we’ve been working on new features and improvements to the service during the first half of 2010. We just wanted to take a moment to let you know about these updates, and some new features you can look forward to in the second half of 2010:

• Award and/or Upgrade availability has been added or updated for the following airlines:

* Aegean Airlines
* Aeroflot (Also now supports Seat Maps)
* Air Europa Lineas Aereas (Also now supports Seat Maps)
* Alitalia
* Gol Transportes Aereos
* Hawaiian Airlines
* Kenya Airways
* Kingfisher
* Korean Air (Also now supports Seat Maps)
* Malaysia Airlines
* Qantas Airways

ExpertFlyer now has a total of 31 airlines that we show Award and/or Upgrade availability for.

• Seat Map searches can now include your frequent flyer program information when the request is sent to the airline. This will allow you to see seats that are available to members who have elite status on their airline, that would otherwise be shown as blocked or not available. You can enter your frequent flyer number from the Preferences tab on the My Account page. The airlines that currently support this are:

* British Airways
* JAL
* Qantas
* United

• Our Seat Alerts service has helped ExpertFlyer users find thousands of available seats since we launched the service in November. Now you can also choose to have Blocked seats be treated as available along with Premium Only seats. So if your elite status allows you to reserve Blocked seats on your favorite airline, Seat Alerts can now work for you too.

• We have improved the information returned for the Flight Status and Flight Details searches. You can now again see any special comments that are associated with a flight in the Flight Status search (currently only for American Airlines), and in Flight Details, meals and distance information is now again available for all airlines.

• We’ve introduced a new monthly feature on our ExpertFlyer Blog called One-on-One, a series of one-on-one interviews with some of the most knowledgeable and influential professionals in the travel industry. Our kickoff interview was with Cory Garner, Director of Merchandising Strategy for American Airlines.

• We're also hard at work on additional features that we plan on rolling out in the coming months. Some of those features include:

* American Airlines Award & Upgrade search improvements:
o A&U searches for AA will now return up to 12 segments instead of the current 6
o You will be able to specify connecting airports for an American A&U search
o For several airlines including AA, the ability to get more non-stop or direct flights with one click.
* New Seat Map features and approximately 15 new Seat Map airlines.
* Fare Information and Fare Routing Rules improvements.

We hope you find these ongoing improvements helpful in your travels. As always, thank you for your continued support of ExpertFlyer.

Regards,
The ExpertFlyer.com Team

Hatte ich auch bekommen.

Leider immer noch keine LH-Awards. Wären die noch, das Tool wäre perfekt!
