Amanresorts opens its second US property - Amangiri.

Located close to the border with Arizona in Canyon Point, Southern Utah, Amangiri is tucked into a protected valley with views over the Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument. Just a 25-minute drive from the nearest town of Page, Arizona and a 15-minute drive to the shores of Lake Powell, is ideally placed for day trips to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Colorado River and Bryce and Zion National Parks.

Set on a 243-hectare expanse of wilderness, Amangiri is reached via a winding road that descends into the valley and leads to the resort’s central Pavilion.
34 guest suites and the Aman Spa are housed in two elegant wings which extend from the Pavilion. Each suite has panoramic views of the desert and features a private entrance courtyard, a combined bedroom and living area, a sky-lit dressing room, a roomy bathroom with views from the sunken bath tub and a desert lounge with central fireplace. Pool Suites, Terrace Pool Suites and the Girijaala and Amangiri Suites also offer private pools and secluded outdoor sky terraces.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Dining Room’s focal point is the open kitchen with its wood-fired oven. This traditional cooking technique imparts a unique flavour and rustic authenticity to Amangiri’s cuisine, which emphasizes locally-sourced, seasonal produce.

In addition to the hotel, the Amangiri master-plan features 28 private villas, each with four or five bedrooms, private pools, wine cellars, fireplaces, optional media rooms and staff quarters.

Getting there:
Amangiri is a 25-minute drive from Page Municipal Airport, Arizona, served by Great Lakes Airways’ direct flights from Denver and Phoenix.
By road, the resort is a 4-hour drive from Phoenix, 5 hours from Las Vegas and 6 hours from Salt Lake City.

Sehr nett da! ;)

Amangiri, ‘peaceful mountain’, is located in the southwest region of the USA also known as the Four Corners, where the states of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona meet. Tucked into a protected valley with gorgeous views over the colorful, stratified rock towards the Grand Staircase, this property has been designed to blend with the landscape with natural hues, materials and textures as a feature of the design.

Offering 34 suites in total, Amangiri boasts 14 Desert View Suites, 13 Mesa View Suites, one Terrace Suite, two Pool Suites, two Terrace Pool Suites, the Girijaala Suite and the Amangiri Suite. All suites offer air-conditioning and under-floor heating to ensure guest comfort. Entry to each suite is through a private courtyard that features a small outdoor dining area and a glass wall with a door opens to a combined bedroom and living area, which includes a writing desk and a king-sized bed. Bathrooms feature twin rain showers and a comfortable soaking tub with uninterrupted views of the landscape.

The Dining Room features an open kitchen with a wood-fired oven that imparts a unique flavor and authenticity to Anangiri’s cuisine. This delightful restaurant offers the ambience of a private residence with informed and attentive service. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open to the outdoor dining terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The delicious menu is always changing, driven by locally sourced seasonal produce.

Situated in the center of the Pavilion is the Library where guests can find a series of extended sofas with ledges filled with books and magazines. The Gallery showcases the region’s best art, jewelry and handicrafts including works from the Navajo community as well as a range of destination books, resort apparel and other items available for purchase. The swimming pool is set within a sunken courtyard framed by the Pavilion and rock formation that also offers a hot tub. Aman Spa at Amangiri offers a number of unique treatment venues including hydrotherapy treatments, color therapy-enhanced flotation treatments and water Shiatsu. The Pilates Studio offers professional equipment and Amanresorts’ unique Pilates assessment, as well as yoga classes, while the Fitness Center on the upper level of the Aman Spa is fully equipped with a wide range of cardio, strength-training and free-weight exercise equipment.

Könnte man mal mit Vegas kombinieren! Werde es mir merken...

Jo..ist die Ecke.
Preise waren mal recht heftig gedacht.
