Sightseeing (top/basic choices):
- Wawel castle (Sheraton hotel is right by)
Standard bei Krakau-Besuch
- Old town (i.e. Market square, St. Mary’s church, etc; you can reach it from Sheraton by taking a walk down Grodzka street which starts by Wawel castle)
Standard
- Jewish district Kazimierz (Szeroka street with synagogues and Remu cemetery and synagogue, Nowy square; you can reach this district by taking a walk down Krakowska street, which also starts by Wawel castle, but goes opposite direction than if you walked to the Market square)
Standard
- Wieliczka salt mine - very liked by local and foreign tourists; it’s in a town nearby Krakow, you can easily drive there or even take a city bus, but I would actually recommend that your hotel organizes a trip for you, as it’s important that you are there on time to join a German speaking tour;

Restaurants:
- Restauracja pod Baranem – a restaurant with Polish cuisine, I think the only one that serves typical polish food where also locals eat (other restaurants are very touristy, with a bad quality-price ratio):
Pod Baranem Restaurant - best polish cuisine in Krakow , it’s just a walk from Sheraton
- My favorite steak restaurant: Pimiento – there are 2 in Krakow, I always eat in the one on Jozefa street (in Kazimierz, the Jewish district), but there’s also one on Stolarska Street, right by the Market Square:
Pimiento Argentino Grill Restauracja Kraków Kazimierz Rynek Wir waren in dem auf der Stolarska. Sehr gutes Fleisch. Tisch reservieren, ein spontaner Besuch ist keine gute Idee
- Szara restaurant – there are also two, one in Kazimierz (right on Szeroka Street, next to the Remu synagogue and cemetery) and the other one right on the Market square:

- Pretty cool/good Italian restaurant in Kazimierz (Jewish district) on Kupa street: Al Dente; I cant find their web site in English, so here is the site from trip Advisor:

- For a quick lunch: Moa Burger on Mikolajska street, right by St. Mary’s church on the Market Square; home made, pretty good quality burgers:
Moaburger - Kraków Sehr gute Burger, spartanisches Ambiente, direkt hinter der Kirche. Bei gutem Wetter Take-Away Option für den Park
- For a lunch in the Jewish district – 2 French bistros: Zakladka (this on is already in Podgorze, on the other side of Wisla river:

b) Trzy Rybki Restaurant in Hotel Stary

For late night/drinks/coffee:
- My favorite bar: Singer, on Estery Street, just by Nowy Square, in the Jewish district – usually it’s just a bar, but on Fridays/Saturdays, around 11pm they turn up the music and the party starts; Don’t wear expensive cloths coz you can expect that drinks will be poured on you in the crowed, but no worries – this place itself is a contradiction of being posh:

- Moment Resto and Bar, also on Kazimierz, just by Singer, it’s a lounge bar, no dancing; its also open throughout the day, makes an ok place for lunch/late breakfast:

- Baroque – good for dancing/drinks, but not my style really – I was there only a couple of times because one of my friends is a co-owner:

- Les Couleurs – coffee/drinks, also in the Jewish district, by Nowy Square:
