Due to heavy snowfalls, we recommend our customers planning to travel today January 21 on a short or medium-haul flight to postpone their trip.
Precision about conditions avalaible to change booking without extra cost or refund conditions are given in the message below.
Our call centers are doing their utmost to cope with the increased volume of calls; however you may face difficulties joining them. This is why we ask you to contact them only if you are planning to travel on 21.
We would also like to warn you of the difficult road and transport conditions to reach the Paris airports.
Our operations in Paris airports are disrupted by weather conditions. Some delays can occur on our maintained flights. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and be sure that we are doing our utmost to limit reduce it.
In all cases, before going to the airport, all customers should consult the flight schedule information, available in real time.
Flight time updates in real time
We also would like to remind you of the possibility of changing your trip if you are in possession of a ticket to or from the Paris airports, as well as the London airports, for travel from Friday 18 January to Tuesday 22 January 2013:
- If you wish to change your flight up to Friday 25 January 2013 included, you can change your reservation in the same travel class at no extra cost;
- If you wish to change your flight between Saturday 26 January 2013 and Friday 15 February 2013 inclusive, the modification of your booking is possible free of charge at the same fare, according to availability, or by paying the difference with a higher fare;
You can change your reservation* on this website, in the "View/modify your reservations" section or on our mobile website in the "Manage my reservations" section. These solutions are valid up to Friday 25 January 2013.
- For any reservations postponed from the 15 February 2013 onwards, to change destination, departure airport or cancel your reservation, you can obtain a non refundable voucher for an Air France or KLM flight with one year validity.
- If your flight is cancelled or delayed by more than 5 hours and the rebooking solutions are not convenient to you or if you prefer to cancel your trip, you may request a refund with the exclusion of service fees.
- If you bought your ticket at Air France offices or through AF web sites, please fill in the refund form available through the " View/Modify your reservations / Obtain a refund online" feature.

Rebooking
If you were travelling to or, from or via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on 21 January and your flight was cancelled, KLM will rebook you to the next available possibility and notify as soon as possible.
You can log in to ‘My Trip’ to change your travel dates yourself, and view your flight details. You can also contact us by telephone. Did you book your ticket via a travel agent? Please contact them to change your travel dates.
Because of snow fall in Amsterdam some of our flights will be delayed or cancelled. Also, de-icing our aircrafts may delay departures. We are doing our very best to help you continue your journey as soon as possible.
If you will travel to or from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport from Sunday, 20 January 2013 to Tuesday, 22 January 2013, you may choose to change your travel dates or change your destination. We offer you the following rebook options and conditions:
1. Change of travel dates
The following conditions apply:
◦You may change 1 outbound journey and 1 inbound journey on KLM, flights free of charge.
◦If your journey is to or from Amsterdam between Sunday, 20 January 2013 and Tuesday, 22 January 2013 your new departure date should be no later than 29 January 2013, the original duration of stay remains unchanged.
◦Penalties and change fees do not apply.
◦Re-booking is possible only if seats are available in the same cabin class as stated in the original ticket.
◦If your journey is to or from Amsterdam, rebooking must be done at the latest on 25 January 2013.
2. Change of destination
You may use the full value of your original tickets to buy new tickets of the same or a higher KLM, AIR FRANCE and/or Delta Air Lines fare.
◦Penalties and change fees do not apply
◦If your journey is to or from Amsterdam re-issuing must be done at the latest on 25 January 2013.
3. Refunds
You are entitled to a full refund of your ticket if:
◦Your flight is on between Sunday, 20 January 2013 and Tuesday, 22 January 2013 to or from Amsterdam by KLM, AIR FRANCE and/or Delta Air Lines, and were cancelled by KLM, AIR FRANCE and/or Delta Air Lines, or your flight was delayed for more than 3 hours and you did not travel.
If you bought your ticket via KLM.com, a KLM ticket office or KLM Telephone Reservations, and your ticket number starts with 074, you can apply for a refund by filling out our online refund form. This will avoid long waiting times at our sales and service centres. If you booked via a travel agent, you should contact them directly.
