Der Flug LH401 von JFK nach FRA am 26.10.18 musste wegen Oil Fumes in Boston landen.
Nachzulesen bei Accident: Lufthansa A388 near Halifax on Oct 26th 2018, oil fumes on board

Hat jmd. hier weitere Informationen dazu? Die D-AIMJ steht immer noch in BOS.
Stelle mir das sehr unangenehm und gesundheitlich sehr bedenklich vor den Öldämpfen so lange schutzlos ausgesetzt zu sein.

Manchmal leckt es halt. Soll nicht passieren, aber solange die Luft direkt aus den Triebwerken kommt braucht man auch (derzeit) Öl zur Schmierung.

Das Dickschiff wurde vorhin rausgeschoben und ist nun auf dem Weg nach FRA. Mal sehen wann es wieder in den regulären Flugbetrieb einsteigt.

26.10.18: LH A380 auf LH401 JFK-FRA Triebwerksprobleme, Ölgeruch, Umkehr nach JFK

Der A380 auf LH401 JFK-FRA hat nach Triebwerksproblemen und massivem Ölgeruch in der Kabine die Umkehr nach BOS gemacht.

Flugzeug wird nun mit Ersatzcrew und nur 3 Triebwerken nach FRA überführt.
