It appears that the Beam Hanger disconnected from the Beam Hanger Fitting. On a 4 month aircraft, my first suspicion is assembly error at the Beam Hanger to Hanger Fitting joint. With the Beam Hanger disconnected, this allowed the Retract Actuator/Walking Beam Assy to rotate upwards when the gear was attempting to retract. The Assy penetrated upwards through the fixed trailing edge panel above the rear spar and gear beam area. After the unsuccessful retraction attempt, and subsequent extension of the landing gear, the Retract Actuator/Walking Beam Assy rotated downwards back into its normal position. Leaving the damaged hole in the fixed trailing edge panel, and the clevis end of the Beam Hanger peeking out. The Beam Hanger is actually flipped upside down at this point, pivoting at its joint with the Reatract Actuator/Walking Beam Assy.
