Summer vacation is in town. This means very busy times at the airport this week. Be prepared. If you're flying this week, Here are some tips for a smooth take-off:

- Please come to the airport at least 2 hours before your flight (for both short haul and long haul flights!). Security checkpoint waiting times may be longer than usual! Leave in time, traffic may be very busy due to the works at the Viaduct of Vilvoorde. More info and alternative ways to get to the airport can be found here: Homepage

Brussels Airport also foresees a Kiss & Ride zone at Brucargo to avoid traffic: Kiss & ride zone || Brucargo

- Save time, check in online, or via your mobile device. Find out about all your check-in options.

- Don't forget the liquids rule:
It is allowed to take small quantities of liquids in your hand luggage in individual containers with a maximum capacity of 100 millilitres per container. The containers must be packed in one transparent re-sealable plastic bag of not more than 1 littre capacity per passenger. For detailed luggage rules, click here.
