An Allied Services Limited Antonov AN-12B, registration EY-406 performing a freight flight from Juba to Paloich (South Sudan) with 12 passengers and 5 crew, departed Juba's runway 13 but impacted a hill about 800 meters past the aerodrome/1100 meters past the runway end and came to rest at the banks of White Nile River. One member of the crew and a child are reported to have survived the crash with serious injuries, 15 occupants are reported killed, a number of people on the ground perished, too.
Police reported 41 people were killed in the crash.
