Gepaeckaufbewahrung New York JFK

Hallo zusammen,

Ich suche nach ner Moeglichkeit mein Gepaeck (einen Koffer <23Kg) in New York am JFK Airport fuer einen Tag aufbewahren zu lassen. Ich komme morgens um 9:00 Uhr domestic mit Jetblue an und fliege Abends mit LH405 nach Frankfurt. Ich nehme an, der LH Checkin wird so frueh morgens noch nicht offen sein. Falls es keine Aufbewahrung gibt (wovon ich ausgehe, da mir zumindest google keine Information die aktueller als 9/10/01 ist ausgespuckt hat) waere die Frage ob ich mein Gepaeck bei solch einem langen Aufenthalt bis FRA durchchecken lassen kann?! Gibt’s ein interline agreement zwischen Jetblue und LH? Geht das bei einem Aufnethalt von >12h?

Ansonsten sollte es auch ein interline agreement geben, sodass ein Durchchecken der Koffer sicherlich einen Versuch wert ist, wenn Du die in JFK nicht unbedingt brauchst. Der LH Check-in macht ansonsten vermutlich nicht vor 12 Uhr auf, da der erste LH-Flug ab JFK um 15 Uhr rausgeht...

Haenge mich hier mal ran.
Habe nach einer Gepaeckaufbewahrung in NYC (idealerweise Penn Station oder unmittelbare Umgebung) gesucht und habe nichts gefunden.

Gegoogelt und folgendes gefunden, allerdings schon ein paar Jahre alt.
Ich bin das WE in NY State, komme per Zug in Penn Station an, habe evt. noch einen Termin in midtown, ansonsten wollte ich mir einen schoenen Tag machen und dann ca. 18 Uhr wieder von der Penn Station Richtung EWR aufbrechen (Flug um 20.30). Habe zwar wenig Gepaeck, aber ohne waere schon entspannter.

Schwarztravel scheint es noch zu geben, hat jemand damit Erfahrung gemacht?
Sonstige Erfahrungen mit Aufbewahrung?

Hi there, there are no lockers but if you have taken the train into NYC on Amtrak with a valid Amtrak ticket. Once you get off the train there are signs pointing to the area, you present your Amtrak ticket and give your name to the porters there. They give you a claim slip, you must return by the end of the day. I used this is July 2007, it should be still there. Contact Amtrak to double check if this option works :

Also there is a new luggage storage place in Midtown Shawrtz Travel, they will store your luggage for up to 24 hours for $6-10 depending on the size. They are located at 355 W 36th Street. Here's their website:

Probably your best bet. I haven't used them but have read about them and plan to use them this summer, a similar place existed but had closed last summer due to them not paying their rent! This one seems to be doing well . Would be interested to hear what they are like. "
