Lagos Flights under threat in Landing Rights Row.
British Airways flights from London Heathrow - Lagos could be slashed from seven to three per week from next Tuesday 8 November after the Nigerian government withdrew rights to operate on the other days.
The row stems from Nigeria’s Arik Air being unable to utilise all its permitted 21 flights per week from Nigeria - UK into London Heathrow due to lack of available slots.
To make matters more inconvenient for British Airways the three permitted Lagos slots have been switched from a 1730 landing and 2245 take off to a 0600 landing and a 1000 take off.
