Wer am Flughafen London-Gatwick auf die Toilette muss, hat derzeit ein Problem, denn viele WC-Anlagen sind außer Betrieb. In einem der beiden Terminals stehen gar nur zwei Toiletten zur Verfügung. Auch können viele Restaurants derzeit nur eingeschränkt arbeiten.​

Der zweitgrößte Flughafen der britischen Hauptstadt London leidet derzeit unter akutem Wassermangel. Hintergrund ist, dass es aufgrund niedrigem Druck zu einem Wasserrohrbruch gekommen ist. Um die Folgen zumindest ein wenig lindern zu können, lässt der Airport Wasser mit Tankwagen anliefern.

Bamboo Airways to launch London Gatwick-Ho Chi Minh City​

Bamboo Airways will operate a year-round service from London Gatwick to Ho Chi Minh City from December 7.

The weekly service to the Vietnamese destination will be operated by B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft configured with three classes (economy, premium economy and business). The service is in addition to the the airline’s upcoming inaugural route between Gatwick and Hanoi, which launches on October 30. The airline already flies from London Heathrow to the Vietnamese capital on Sundays.
