My last, very last experience with Lufthansa...

On this Friday there has been a strike of the Lufthansa personnel. So far so understandable that we customers experience difficulties.

I had to change the flight to the next day, afterwards I rebooked back since the flight was yes confirmed.

So far understandable.

Arrived at the check in, I have been asked to pay 70 €, because my hand luggage was to heavy.

One one hand ok, but consideri g the caothic situation we customers had to face because of their strike, I would have expected more flexibility.

I am very very disappointed, I have 7 years senator and now frequent flyer, showing great loyality to Lufthansa.

Again very disappointed, I am going to change from Lufthansa.

Very very bad performance, no customer focus at all !
Good bye Lufthansa !

Gosh ! Fxxx friday fxxx LH fxxxed me up …those fxxx guys really thought that it might be a fxxx good idea doon‘kinda walkout.

Musste mal gesagt werden.

How long because I.... Obwohl, das ist so schlecht (und jede AI kriegt das um Bonusmeilen besser hin), dass man sich schon wieder fragt, was das Ganze eigentlich bezwecken soll- von Marcel und dem Götterboten haben wir ja schon längere Zeit nichts mehr gehört.

I am also very unhappy with LH. I am FTL, but a uncle of a friend of my colleague is HON. I tried to get access to the First Class Lounge. LH personel is terrible they didn't let me in.🤔.

Now more serious.

If the hand luggage is too heavy, it's too heavy. There is no logical connection to a strike.

I have to say, very disappointing experience with Lufthansa. Truly unbelievable. I’ve been a loyal customer for YEARS — one of their best, frankly — and this is how they treat me? Not good.

They looked at my carry-on — which, by the way, was a GREAT bag, strong, powerful, maybe a little heavy, but very high quality — and they said, “No, you have to check it.” Can you believe it? Nobody has ever seen anything like it.

So now I have to pay EXTRA. Extra money! For a bag that should have gone with me. Total disgrace. Very unfair situation, folks.

If this is how they treat their best customers, I will be taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty of airlines — many, many airlines — and some of them are very interested in having me, I can tell you that.

Lufthansa, you’ve lost a great customer today. Sad!

Fact of the matter appears to be that he had booked a light fare. He experienced German Streikkultur and rebooked his flight based on the Kulanzregelung. In the end of the day his flight operated as normal and he flew as he was supposed to do. Agents however concluded that taking the entire household with hin in the carry-on luggage was too much and made him checking in that bag and charged what they were supposed to charge. So what?

What is this message trying to tell us? That someone can’t weigh their luggage? Or wants to save on baggage fees? Doesn’t feel like flying business class? That people are only allowed to strike for labor rights in certain countries? It’s probably too early in the morning for me to be interpreting these lines so subjectively...
