Can you remember why the flight was so much delayed? Could it be that the plane from AMS came totally late? I ask since I found this entry for 20.12.2006.

Since the 20.12. is a Wednesday, on which KL809 not flew, and the time is totaly different from STD (20:45), this could the delayed outgoing flight.

We weren't told anything more than the usual "technical issue with the plane". So perhaps a maintenance checkup after some incident on previous flight?
