Thank you so much! Many of these came up on Flightaware, but were not appearing when searched registration-wise. This thread is magical!
@rut12 Did the plane have winglets or not? The tail number might be found if you remember.
The 737 did not have winglets

This is the one for which fakepcy was asking about the winglets. Unfortunately, I didn't save most flightaware links 😬
I encountered this type of problem with someone's flight before, also with a JAI B738 but 9W2662 DEL-ATQ on 2015-10-23. After eliminating active tail numbers during his flight time, I concluded that his tail number couldn't be found because he rode one of their few old B738s that had poor or zero tracking.

Notice how October 18 has no data.

Based on Planespotters.net data, these were the existing non-winglet JAI B738s at that time:

VT-JGA no eyebrows, had the Jet Konnect decals before 2016 https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/7964121
VT-JNL no eyebrows VT-JNN with eyebrows
Not even a single ACARS log from them was present... 😫

Since the planes you boarded were untraceable, you have to remember what you saw. There are only three choices.

Yeah, I looked into the FR24 Archive, if you notice, you'll see that the flight was tracked (Departure Time & Arrival Time), but it wasn't linked with any rotations!

Thank you for trying, no worries.

I think we can remove JGA from this as VT-JGA had proper tracking on multiple sectors if you look at historical data. It is either VT-JNL/VT-JNN. How did you manage to find the reg linked to SG0622? I think it had the same issue on FR24, the flight wasn't being connected with any regs. I tried it with SG's entire fleet from back then, haha.

I'm actually surprised you managed to find those two old IndiGo birds, IEX & IEV!

Edit: I went through some old Jetphotos pictures, it appears that JNN's Wings back then were a lot dirtier than they are on my rather blurry picture, so JGA/JNN are both out. I guess it has to be JNL then, and matching with old pictures, it does look like there are some common dirt marks between JNL and my picture.

I found SG622 on Planefinder since Indian airspace started getting more decent tracking for historical playback in 2015, mostly around BOM and DEL area but a bit in West Bengal, which happened to catch VT-SGH. Even if I use historical playback for 9W2315, there's no trace of it approaching DEL even if that area had relatively good tracking with multiple 9W flights visible on the app that day. It's an aircraft tracking problem.

Thanks to ACARS, and FlightStats also confirmed that 6E262's full route was CCU-IMF-IXA-CCU.
