Neue Gepäckregeln bei TG ab 2 März 2026

Was mir gerade bei einer Buchungsbestätigung auffiel:

REMARKS
EFFECTIVE FOR TICKET ISSUANCE/REISSUANCE ON/AFTER 25 November 2025, and for travel on/after
02 March 2026, the baggage allowance will be converted to the piece concept.
Royal First Class (F/A/P/O) 32kg /pc, Royal Silk Class (C/D/J /Z/I/R) 32kg /pc,
Premium Economy Plus Class (Z) 32kg /pc, Premium Economy Class (U/E) 23kg /pc,
Economy Class (Y/B/M/H/Q/T/K/S/V/W*/L*/X/N) 23kg /pc

Habe mir gerade mal die genauen Bestimmungen angesehen die auch aufschlüsseln, wieviele der entsprechenden Gepäckstücke jeweils enthalten sind. Interessant ist, dass nur die Business Class konsistent über alle Buchungsklassen hinweg die gleiche Anzahl an Gepäckstücken beinhaltet; bei allen anderen Serviceklassen wird unterschieden; First Award schlechter zu stellen als First Revenue ist da schon ein bisschen lächerlich bei dem geringen Footprint der First Class in der Flotte und Routenauswahl...


Für internationale Flüge gelten folgende Regeln (domestic immer nur ein Gepäckstück à 32/23 kg):

Royal First Class (F / A / P)
3 x 32 kg

Royal First Class Award (O)
Royal Silk Class (C / D / J / Z / I / R)
Premium Economy Plus Class (Z)
2 x 32 kg

Premium Economy Class (U / E)
Economy Class Full Flex (Y / B / M)
Economy Class Flexi (H / Q / T)
2 x 23 kg

Economy Class Standard (K / S / V)
Economy Class Saver**, Award & Others (W** / L** / X / N)
1 x 23 kg

** Condition applies in some destination with no baggage allowance.
Auch wichtig:

1. In case of travel on combined services for through journeys where the passenger travels in mixed classes (e.g., partly in C-, U-, or Y-class), the free baggage allowance shall be determined based on the highest class of service for which the fare is paid.
   For example, if the passenger has paid a C-class fare but travels partly in U-, or Y-class, the C-class baggage allowance shall apply.
