With Mileage Plus’ One-Way Awards, you can travel one-way for half the miles of a roundtrip award (starting at 12,500 miles for a domestic Saver award) on United or United Express. Miles & Money Awards enable you to book a roundtrip flight, hotel stay or car rental for fewer miles by making up the difference in cash. More information about these new awards will be available on Monday at United Airlines: Mileage Plus, United Mileage Plus Travel Rewards Program.

Nachdem nun erste Details veröffentlicht wurden dürfte die Freude über die Neuerungen etwas abklingen:

You can use miles and money to book select United Economy® class roundtrip Saver Award tickets.

Auf den Routen auf denen ich miles&money versucht hatte, lag der Meilenpreis zudem bei mind. 1,2 US Cent je "gesparter" Meile.

Bei den oneways gilt:

You must fly the most direct route from origin to destination. That means no stopovers. You can, however, make connections.

So ist es bei AA auch geregelt worden. Ob das Segen oder Fluch ist - ich weiss es nicht, die Stopover waren schon immer nett !
