1. How Do I Apply to Touristanbul?
You don't need a reservation to join Touristanbul. If your connection time in Istanbul takes over 6 hours and your waiting time is between 09.00 am-18.00 pm, you are welcome to take the advantage of Turkish Airlines free city tour programme.
2. Can domestic transit passengers attend Touristanbul?
Only international transit passengers can attend Touristanbul.
3. What will be the weather like in Istanbul?

4. Is there any age limitation to join the tours? Can children join the tours?
There are no limitations about age. Everyone at any age can join Touristanbul.
5. How will the transportation from and to the airport be achieved?
The transportation from and to the airport will be done by free shuttles.
6. Is the meal paid or free in the Touristanbul programme? The food service is free.
7. Are the tours arranged with a tour guide?
You will be accompanied by professional tour guide during tour programs.
8. Do all the tour guides give service in English?
Our all tour guides give service in English. But if groups would like to have service other than English, in case of informing us in advance, we can provide a guide who will give service in the requested language.
9. From how many members will a tour group consist?
There is not a particular number. The groups will be formed according to the participation.
10. Does joining the tour program affect the ticket price?
The Touristanbul program is definitely free. There is nothing that will affect your ticket price.
11. Is there a luggage room for our baggage while we are in Touristanbul tour?
There is a luggage room for baggage in the airport. If wanted, Touristanbul participants can leave their baggage to the assigned tour shuttles.
12. If there is a luggage room is it free or paid?
When you leave your baggage at the luggage room, you have to pay for it. If you'd like, you can take your baggage and leave it in the tour shuttle without payment.
13. Are museum fees within the tour service?
All museum entrances within the tour service are free.
14. Can passengers who arrive in Istanbul other than the fixed tour program hours, join the tours afterwards?
Joining the tours afterwards is not possible. All the participant should have applied to Hotel Desk before the tour begins.
15. Can passengers whose flight is other than Turkish Airlines, attend the Touristanbul?
No. Only passengers whose all flight sectors are flown by Turkish Airlines can attend the Touristanbul.
16. If I have a break more than 6 hours but less than a day, can I benefit from the hotel service?
The Economy Class passengers who has more than 10 hours wait and the Business Class passengers who have more than 8 hours wait till their next international flight from Istanbul have the right to benefit from the hotel services within the one day.
