14.10.2020 Thailand: Thai Airways streicht internationale Flüge bis Jahresende
Aufgrund der anhaltenden Reisebeschränkungen hat die Fluggesellschaft Thai Airways bekannt gegeben, die vorübergehende Aussetzung ihrer internationalen Flüge bis Ende Dezember 2020 zu verlängern.
Einige spezielle Ad-hoc- oder Charterflüge werden jedoch möglicherweise durchgeführt. Wer ein Ticket für die kommenden Monate gebucht hat, findet hier auf der offiziellen Seite von Thai Airways Informationen zu Umbuchung und Stornierung.

Stimmt absolut. Kein einziger Chinese aus Guanzhou hat das STV Visum beantragt .
Und nach dem Stand heute werden nur Chinesen , Australier und Neuseeländer
ein STV Visum bekommen . Für diese wird die Quarantäne auf 10 Tage verkürzt .
Danach dürfen sie sich in ausgewiesen Zonen bewegen .
So wird der Gesundheitsminister und stellvertretende Staatschef das in der nächsten
Woche dem Parlament vorschlagen .
Gleichzeitig verkündet TAT eine wahre ,,Touristenflut,, in 2021 . Mit Einheimischen
und Ausländern wird Thailand eines der erfolgreichsten Urlaubsländer weltweit .

Ich habe es dann nicht mehr weitergelesen . Kann man sich auch echt sparen .

Thai Airways wird alle Europa-Strecken bis zum Ende des Winterflugplans (27.03.2021) ruhen lassen.

Einzige Ausnahme ist die TG922/923 BKK-FRA-BKK, die ab heute zunächst 1x pro Woche jeweils am Freitag mit A350 geflogen wird (allerdings sind die Tickets für diesen Flug in Richtung Thailand nicht frei im Internet sondern nur "offline" buchbar).

Bangkok-Tokyo flights will be available three times a week — on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday — while the Bangkok-Hong Kong flights will be available every day.

The airline is seeking to make up losses worth more than 300 billion baht in the Central Bankruptcy Court.

Meanwhile, Somdet Susomboon, director-general of the Department of International Trade Promotion, says THAI will support exporting Thai fruit and vegetables to Asia and Europe until the end of next year under an agreement between the Commerce Ministry, the Agriculture and Cooperative Ministry and the Transport Ministry.

Mr Somdet said the major markets for Thai produce were Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan and Europe.

Meanwhile, Pattaya mayor Sonthaya Khunpluem says the seaside town's Fireworks Festival on Nov 27-28 was a huge success, attracted between 100,000-200,000 visitors a day, boosting local tourism and resulting in 100% hotel occupancy rate.

Mr Sonthaya estimated that during the two-day festival, about 2,000 baht was spent by each person per day, generating more than 400 million baht. <<

THAI confirms winter schedule

The airline is in the midst of a restructuring supervised by Thailand’s Bankruptcy Court, a process that will continue through 2021. It suspended most of its services as a direct result of the Covid-19 lockdown last March. Subsequently, it filed for shelter under the country’s bankruptcy legislation to allow it to initiate a restructuring process.

Earlier this month it announced that close to 5,000 employees would take early requirement or accept up to 80% cuts in salary in 2021 while the airline resumes full commercial services. Since last March it has relied almost entirely on ad-hoc repatriation flights with a partial shift to limited “commercial flights” starting last month for passengers eligible under Thailand’s strict immigration restrictions.

Thai Airways International (THAI) has delayed resuming domestic flights to Chiang Mai and Phuket from Dec 25 to Jan 1, the airline announced on Twitter.

The delay is due to a resurgence of Covid-19 infections in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. No local transmission is known to have been detected in Phuket.

The flights, the first to be relaunched since the airline suspended its international and domestic services at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in April, will operate until Feb 28.

The airline will operate three weekly return flights to Chiang Mai on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as well as thrice weekly return flights to Phuket on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The airline said customers who booked the flights before Jan 1 are entitled to a refund.

The source said THAI management held an emergency discussion in the wake of the Covid-19 resurgence in several provinces and decided to move the relaunch flights to Jan 1.

Management is also closely assessing the infection situation in the country. If the transmissions escalate, the airline may opt to delay the relaunch flights indefinitely.

The airline said that even though Phuket has reported no transmission so far, resuming regular flights there and serving a single destination would not be financially viable.

THAI plans to deploy the wide-body Boeing 777-200ER aircraft on the two flights which also offer full on-board services.

Customers will also accrue Royal Orchid Plus mileage on the flights.<<

Es sieht so aus, dass nach dem Wiederaufflammen von Corona-Hotspots v.a. südlich Nahe Bangkok die THAI ihre geplanten Domestic Flüge vorerst doch nicht wieder aufnimmt. (nachdem vorher die Wiederaufnahme schon auf den 1.1.21 verschoben war).

Es gibt weiterhin bis Ende März anscheinend nur THAI Smile Domestic Flüge.

Auch die Frequenz der wenigen internationalen Flüge könnte sich noch ändern.

Die Flüge BKK -> MNL, TYO, HKG sehen nun hier in der Frequenz reduziert aus gegenüber der Meldung oben vom 1.12.20

BKK-NRT TG642/643 sehe ich bis März weiterhin 3/7 (Di. Mi. Sa.) mit B777, ab 28.03. sogar 2x täglich TG640/641 (A330) und TG676/677 (A380??)
BKK-HND ab April auch 2x täglich TG660/661 und TG682/683 mit B777
BKK-HKG ab 28.03. 3x täglich TG600/601 (A350), TG606/607 (A350) und TG638/639 (A330)

Fraglich ist, ob man der Matrix vertrauen kann.

BKK war doch schon immer ein BR Drehkreuz für die Europaflüge. LHR ging auch vor Corona immer über BKK, VIE ursprünglich auch, später nur ein Teil der Flüge.
