Eurocontrol Network Management schreibt:
Severe CB activity and Thunderstorms in the core area of operations continue to impact the network.
A line of CBs /Thunderstorms exists from Northern Greece through Croatia, Austria, Germany and the Benelux.
A second grouping of CBs /TS exist over the Alps and along the Italian east coast, central/eastern France, drifting over the channel affecting the south east UK.As a result of this, a number of ACCs and Airports concerned have been forced to significantly reduce their sector/airport capacity resulting in regulations and high delays. In most of these regulations there is no space for improvement at this stage as the number of flights are critical for the controllers under these circumstances and must be respected. We kindly urge you not to keep asking for improvements unless your flight is critical and has a delay above the average. We also ask you not to submit requests for any flight in REA status, the system is looking at improvements where ever possible. NMOC staff are working very hard to ensure delay reduction where ever possible and a safe flow of traffic
