A joint action is planned on 14th November organized by the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) with strikes and demonstrations across Europe.

Civil services affecting the Network are expected to support the actions. So far trade unions in Greece, Portugal and Spain have called for a general strike. There are also indications that Belgium, Malta and Cyprus may join.

French DSNA will apply minumum service defined by law. Some ACC's and major airports will requisition ATC staff from the evening of Tue 13th until the morning of Wed 14th November.

In Marseille a union has also called for industrial action restricted to Marseille ACC on Thu 15th November. Minimum service will be provided from the morning of the 15th until the morning of Fri 16th November.

Dann wird auch mein Ryanair-Flug FR 3659 am 14. 11. von Málaga nach Bremen ausfallen.
Wo kann ich von Spanien aus zwecks kostenfreier Umbuchung, ich möchte jetzt eher weg, anrufen?

There are currently no reported strikes of ATC in Europe on the 14th November , except in France , which is expected to have limited impact on Wednesday morning. Early morning regulations will be put in place as a precaution, but it is anticipated they will be cancelled around 0730 utc.The Tango routes are available but don't look as if they will be required to avoid French airspace.

LFMM ATC will have a local strike also from 0500 utc on the 15th November until 0500 on the 16th November. This strike is expected to have an impact. As a result we are coordinating with Algeria and Morocco the standard offload route to avoid LFMM. More details will be given when we have them, and for more info on the French strike follow the link to the French DGAC

Operators can expect some ground handling dlas in Portugal , and there is a minimum service prescribed by the ministry in Spain, which for ATC is full staffing, but their ground handling at Spanish airports will be affected, and they have reduced the no of 'assured 'flights to 988 (normally 2,300). It is suggested that AOs whose flights are not on that list check with their handling agent on Wednesday morning as more flights could possibly be accepted if more than the minima of staff report for duty.

Es gab gestern keine Chance die Verbindung zu Ryanair telefonisch oder per eMail aufzunehmen, um nach dem Stand der Dinge fragen zu können. Da späterer Abflug aus beruflichen Gründen bei mir nicht akzeptabel war, habe ich bei AirBerlin einen Rückflug gebucht und bin geflogen. Mein nächstmöglicher regulärer Ryanair Flug Malaga-Bremen wäre erst am kommenden Sonntag gewesen. Jetzt bin ich gespannt, was Ryanair zu meinen Mehrkosten sagt, Rechtslage? Erfahrungen ?

(General)-Streik ist höhere Gewalt, daran kann die Airline nichts ändern (anders ist es wenn das eigene Personal streikt). Mit anderen Worten, gerade bei Ryanair, bekommst Du nichts.
