Dear Dr Pax,

I am writing to let you know that the ASLEF union have called a Tube strike. There is likely to be significant disruption to Tube services throughout Boxing Day, Wednesday 26 December.

We will be running as many trains as possible but some lines may only have a very limited service and some sections will be closed. Buses will be running across London, including routes serving the West End and Westfield Stratford and White City shopping centres. The Congestion Charge will not be in operation.

Please check travel reports before you travel and visit www.tfl.gov.uk

To plan your journey using other services that will be operating, please visit tfl.gov.uk/journeyplanner

This Trade Union is making scandalous demands. Staff have already been paid to work on Boxing Day and I cannot spend your money paying them again for this.

Yours sincerely,

Mike Brown
