The Bangladeshi Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has identified 19 areas of widespread corruption in the national aviation sector, including eight at the flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG, Dhaka), the Dhaka Tribune has reported.

The report was forwarded to the State Minister for Civil Aviation Mahbub Ali who immediately said that all identified instances of corruption would be harshly penalised.

Um Biman habe ich immer einen weiten Bogen gemacht, aber - um im Kontext zu bleiben - habe ich im BA-Ticket-Office in DAC schon erlebt, wie ein Fluggast sich seine First-Class-Bordkarte selbst ausstellen durfte (Rest der Familie blieb in der gebuchten Klasse und kam dann abwechselnd mal zum Mitessen vorbei) und wurde dann ebenfalls für meine Mitwisserschaft mit selbigem belohnt.
