Nach der Pleite von Comair und Kulala plant FlySafair einen massiven Ausbau des Streckennetzes.

FlySafair has made application to the Air Services Licensing Council for rights to operate several regional routes, including connections to Zanzibar, Maputo, Lusaka, Livingstone, Gaborone, Victoria Falls, Bulawayo, Nairobi, Luanda, and the Seychelles. The carrier has also applied for additional weekly frequencies to Mauritius, a route it already operates twice a week.

FlySafair received approval to operate flights from Cape Town and Johannesburg to Gaborone, Botswana; Livingstone and Lusaka, Zambia; Luanda, Angola; Maputo, Mozambique; and Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. In addition, the airline has been approved for frequencies from Johannesburg to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe; Nairobi, Kenya; and the Seychelles as well as between Cape Town and Windhoek, Namibia. Its application for routes between Johannesburg and Windhoel as well as Harare and Zanzibar, Zimbabwe, and additional frequencies to Mauritius are still pending.
