For this flights only H4-BUS and F-GSTR could be possible if it really was a A320.

For F-GSTR I found the following:

Solomons (Solomon Airlines) (Honiara) will let the Strategic Airlines (Australia) wet lease expire and will dry lease its own Airbus A320 in March 2011. The new A320 will operate in full Solomons colors rather than Strategic colors.

For H4-BUS I found the follwing:

The airline announced on September 8, 2011 that CASA Australia (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) has finally approved their FAOC (Foreign Air Operators Certificate) application which now gives Solomons their AOC to commence scheduled flights to and from Brisbane, Australia.

Our Airline operated for Solomons until September 11, 2011.

The pictured former Air Canada Airbus A320-211 now registered as H4-BUS (msn 302) commenced its first scheduled revenue flight on Monday September 12, 2011 from Brisbane to Honiara and return. H4-BUS is pictured at BNE in the revised color scheme.

According to rizjet the leasing for F-GSTR ended on 20.05.2011 while on the same day the leasing for H4-BUS began.

Do you have maybe picture of the aircraft, since F-GSTR has a Strategic painted on the tail.
This one feels like it should be easy to narrow down by process of elimination but my flight was during an odd in between time.

F-GSTR was apparently returned to lessor in March, where did you see May 20th?

on May 16th a Strategic A320 VH-YQB had an incident operating HIR-BNE https://avherald.com/h?article=43cab5ec&utm_source=chatgpt.com

I have seen some reports of VH-NLK operating on behalf of Solomon Airlines but it seems to be June-Sept 2011

H4-BUS was delivered in May 2011 but apparently didn’t enter service until September. It can’t have operated my April flight.

my memory is that it was served by an A320, I remember talking about strategic operating the flight but I’m unsure if that memory is as a result of email confirmations issued before the contract changes or if Strategic was part of the airport experience.

I seem to remember the plane being either all white or displaying fairly minimal branding. I’m almost certain it wasn’t VH-NLK.

To me it seems most likely to have been VH-YQA, VH-YQB, or VH-YQC.

Yes, you are right with F-GSTR. I got the information from rizjet but have not seen that it was withdrawn from use in 2010.

And after further research I also noted the VH-YQ*, so at the end it is not that easy.

But at least you can eleminate VH-YQA on 20.04.
VH-YQAA320VC012620110420VC0521GLT-BNE[[+10:00] Brisbane, Australia [1.70RC3]]

VH-YQAA320VC090620110420VC0525GLT-BNE[[+10:00] Brisbane, Australia [1.70RC3]]

and on 27.04.

VC204 DPS-PER 1855 2250

Maybe you can contact the people from this blog if have maybe still logs from 27.04.2011 for VC520/521 and VC524/525 BNE-GLT-BNE

Thanks, Will do! Any other month this would be easy as there was only ever one plane in the fleet at a given time but of course April 2011 is a wildcard.

Hello @zeus1309 do you happen to have these two in your database? :)

2008-04-12 LH3302 FRA WAW 1205 1335 A319
2008-05-03 LH3303 WAW FRA 1415 1600 A319

No need to add to the list.

Wow that worked. B-HKF. If you could give me any other QF numbers for CX flights (mine and others) I’m happy to ask
found 2009-07-20 CX0292 FCO HKG 1250 0610 pbody B-HKF #8033

So far, that's the only one that gave me a QF flight number on byAir. There could be more that were just poorly documented but I haven't seen anything so far. I got AY5849 for your CX139 and I doubt Finnair has a say on that. What's interesting is that they said they don't have info on QF3860 (they made a typo of QF3890) since it wasn't operated by them lmao.

I believe the codeshare airline has some control over the flight numbers. For example QF codeshares on EK simply add an 8 to the start of the flight number EG QK8097 is EK0097

Hmm, then perhaps you could ask the missing EK flights from them using that pattern. The thing is that I got nothing when I looked up QF8323 for "2010-08-25 EK0323 ICN DXB 2355 0425 380 Perisai." It's either invalid or byAir failed to document all its codeshares. This is such a life hack lmao.

QF only started codeshare with EK in 2013 and it wasnt every route
