Heute muss ich buchen. Soll ich beim Rückflug SFO - ZRH auswählen, dass ich den Anschlussflug nach BUD, den ich ja nicht fliege, erst am nächsten Tag nehme. Vereinfacht sowas das ganze mit dem Gepäck? LG

Nachdem das letzte Leg ja Buchungsklasse J hat und damit beliebig umbuchbar ist, kannst Du es so weit in die Zukunft legen wie es die Stopover-Regel hergibt, und dann bei Ankunft in ZRH umbuchen. Lässt sich ja in Verbindung mit dem Zubringerflug für einen eigenen Ausflug nach BUD problemlos nützen!

Nachdem das letzte Leg ja Buchungsklasse J hat und damit beliebig umbuchbar ist, kannst Du es so weit in die Zukunft legen wie es die Stopover-Regel hergibt, und dann bei Ankunft in ZRH umbuchen. Lässt sich ja in Verbindung mit dem Zubringerflug für einen eigenen Ausflug nach BUD problemlos nützen!

Die Buchungsklasse hat nichts mit der Umbuchbarkeit zu tun, sondern nur mit der Verfügbarkeit. Es gibt zwar häufig Zusammenhänge, aber gerade in diesem Fall zählt die restriktive Regel der Buchungsklasse A -> Umbuchung gegen Gebühr, kein Stopover erlaubt.

Die Stopover-Regelung gibt hier eben nichts her, da keine Stopovers erlaubt sind... :idea: Da nützt Dir auch "Buchungsklasse J" nichts.

(Und selbst die Umbuchungen, die noch erlaubt sind, würden EUR 400 kosten)

Tarife ab BUD gibt es weiterhin, überhaupt kein Problem. Allerdings sind die 28 Tage Vorausbuchungsfrist wie bei so ziemlich allen A-Tarifen gen Nordamerika zu beachten.

Hallo,

das Special habe ich an Halloween gemacht (BUD-LAS). Kurz meine Erfahrung hierzu von mir.

In SFO ist mir der Flieger nach LAS durch die Lappen gegangen. Am Bordercontrol saßen für die "Ausländer" nur 4 jungs an den Schaltern und es kamen zwei Maschinen vorher an (AirChina und ...). Da haben die 2h Umsteigezeit nicht gereicht. Ok, war auch etwas Problematisch den Koffer zu finden, weil die vom Band genommen wurden (hier würde man sich etwas mehr Service wünschen). Das Umbuchen auf die nächste Maschine war aber kein Problem.
Rückzug war die Challenge eher das das Gepäck nur für 3 Segmente eingecheckt werden kann. Ok, also in MUC wieder neu einchecken, was in der Zeit kein Problem war. Letzte Challenge war dann nochmals kurz in BUD, da der "Zubringer" (Heimwärts) über Germanwings ging. Das Gepäck konnte zwar durchgecheckt werden, aber nicht das Ticket ausgestellt werden. Also nochmal einchecken.
Alles in allem waren die Pausen nicht so stressig und der SEN ist rezertifiziert ;)

solches runs haben keinen wirklichen Zweck. Der Weg ist das Ziel und dann ist das Ziel weg. :D So wirklich viel bringt der Status dann auch nicht im Verhältnis, selbst als HON ist man oft genug der Depp. Ich nehme es als Goodie, wenn auch ich deswegen das ein oder andere mal trotzdem LH wähle (und das ist ja der Sinn von M&M)

Wenn man den SEN nur mit so einem RUN schafft, macht das wohl eher keinen Sinn....

Naja, wenn man 80-100 x im Jahr paid Eco fliegt in Deutschland und Europa (was natürlich bei halbwegs "günstigen" Eco-Tarifen nicht für den SEN reicht), kann das schon angenehmer sein mit SEN-Status als ohne. Insbesondere, wenn die Anzahl der SENs jetzt zurückgefahren wird.

Losgelöst von dem Thema "Run" oder nicht sind die Preise für First Class gen USA durchaus recht attraktiv.

Nochmal eine dumme Frage: wenn ich MXP-MUC-Nordamerika buche,
kann ich dann auf der Rückreise den Flug MUC-MXP flexibel umbuchen? Ist ja Buchungsklasse J. Ich würde diesen Hüpfer nämlich gern für ein Wochenende in Mailand nutzen, weiß aber noch nicht, wann.
Und wo ich gerade bei den dummen Fragen bin: Ist abzusehen, dass dieser ~3500€ Tarif bald wieder wegfällt? Wie schnell muss ich buchen für einen Sommerurlaub?

Das Ticket, das Du buchen würdest, würde in einen Tarif AXXXX buchen und dessen Bedingungen sind relevant, nicht in welcher Buchungsklasse ein bestimmtes Segment denn nun landet. Bei LH kostet die Umbuchung EUR 400.

Stopover (wie in Deinem Fall gewünscht in MUC) sind nicht erlaubt.

PS: Die selbe Frage wurde übrigens ein paar Beiträge über Deinem Beitrag bereits gestellt und beantwortet. ;)
