Following the multitude of questions and comments that we have received and the statement that PLO issued earlier today regarding the incident that took place prior to the departure of flight A3 928 to Tel Aviv we would like to reaffirm that our crew tried, for over an hour and thirty minutes, to resolve a very challenging situation, only having in mind the safety and comfort of all passengers.
Unfortunately, during this time there were unjustified and unfair reactions from a large group of passengers, which led the two affected passengers feeling uncomfortable to fly. It was mostly out of concern for the two passengers comfort and safety during this flight, after all that had transpired that we suggested they might stay at our expense overnight and indeed board another flight the next day.
We would like to express once again our deepest regret for the inconvenience caused and assure there was no intention what so ever of discrimination from the flight’s crew.
