ich habe das erste mal nach einem hotelaufenthalt ein feedback an den hotelmanager geschrieben.
und heute die folgende antwort erhalten:
eine nette geste - ob das mit dem "breakfast included" in zukunft klappt wird sich noch rausstellen
...
schreibt ihr auch feedback an das hotelmanagement nach euren aufenthalten und falls ja wann - nur wenn es probleme gab oder auch nur um lob loszuwerden?

Dear XXXXXX,
I would like to give you feedback regarding my stay this weekend.
I was entirely happy - especially the friendliness of the whole staff was amazing. I have stayed in lots of London hotels including the Intercontinental and nowhere else did I experience this level of friendly service (N.B. the fruit platter in the IC consists of two mandarins ;-) ) You can be proud to have such a customer focussed team!
Another very positive aspect was the free wireless internet in our room. That’s actually something I expect as a guest but unfortunately experience very rarlely in Europe.
The only thing which was quite confusing: There was a personal welcome letter in the room stating that as a club guest I was entitled to a full continental breakfast at the restaurant. When we went there it was denied - apparently because it was not included in the room rate (we have received a room upgrade). So either the letter or your staff was wrong.

We at all time strive to provide a good service throughout the Hotel. From time to time as on the occasion of your stay we fail.
In relation to your complimentary breakfast, the letter you received was correct and the member of staff you encountered was wrong.
I have spoken to the Restaurant Manager who has in turn spoken to the member of staff you encountered.
Please accept by sincere apologies for the distress and inconvenience caused to you.
Should you return to London in the future I will ensure full breakfast is included on your booking profile from now on.
