@Saltagigi Thank you a lot for this search and finding! I will add the OH-LGC for this flight based on this so it is solid enough for me. Also I started to wonder if I could figure out the other MD11 flight about the same time with same approach. How far back the ACARS logs you used here go and where those collected from Europe? I mean all these where also with Finnair MD-11 back then, so 7 possible planes.
So i used the acarsd.org logs (https://web.archive.org/web/20150706113337/http://www.acarsd.org/world_ACARS_reports/) and they go back to January 2006.
These are logs from all over the world in theory, but there are much fewer logs from Asia, let alone Africa. I think i found some entries from Japan for your flights.
I will add a caution that especially in the early years there are quite a few errors in there, for example I found a Finnair MD-11 flight from HAM to HEL, but that one was logged somewhere around the US East Coast and the time made sense for the JFK flight. So sometimes it's a bit of work to make sense of the logs, but i hope you will find something. :)

While looking into some of the RJ flights I took:

1987-03-20 RJ0133 AMM LCA 1300 1430 B722 gotflyer
1989-03-30 RJ0134 LCA AMM 1440 1515 B72x gotflyer

I found the following page which discusses the 727s RJ operated over the years.

https://simpleflying.com/royal-jordanian-boeing-727-fleet-history

It seems that for the above flights there are three potential options:

JY-AFT - entered service in early 1980, was sold in 1988.
JY-AFU - entered service in January 1981, was sold in 1996.
JY-AFV - entered service in January of 1981, was sold "after 8 years"

Now this got me excited, as if the last point meant in January of 1989 then JY-AFU could have been the only option in March 1989. Alas, after some googling I found images of both JY-AFT and JY-AFV in RJ livery well into the 1990s. So it seems these two data points where incorrect.

The site claims to fetch its data from atdb.aero, unfortunately to see when a plane left an airline is only available under a professional license.

https://atdb.aero/php/go.php?query=...qstring=B.727-200+of+Royal+Jordanian+Airlines

However narrowing it down to potentially three is always something, does anyone have any resources which can eliminate any of the above regs?

There were only three international routes that day and I was able to assign the likely flights of the both two planes that weren't eliminated based on their domestic flights. I did trial-and-error with multiple aircraft at MDW across multiple days, so it should make sense. I contacted BNA about WN2682's diversion but they encouraged me to contact the airline instead 😭. If anyone has contact with the relevant authorities to support my claim of N464WN being WN1999, it would be nice.

Here the excerpts from rizjet about these aircrafts. Looks for me like a buy and lease back.

Hallo an alle :)

@Jan1991

Thank you, with this I solved:

2007-11-18 SK1462 CPH OSL 0825 0935 B737 gotflyer LN-TUF

Then we have a weird one. I couldn't find this one for this date:

2004-10-13 SK0430 CPH GOT 0845 0930 MD80 gotflyer

The weird part is if I look for SK0430 for all other days in October 2004 it shows up as CPH-ARN. I assumed I made a typo when I put it in. I went back and found my ticket receipt from SK, confirming SK0430 on October 13th, figuring perhaps the flight had changed between when I bought it and when I flew I went back and found the stub from my boarding card, again confirming SK0430. Does anyone have a valid timetable for October 2004? The ones I've managed to track down are either earlier (ends April) or later (starts November) and they differ markedly.

Lastly this one I feel is close as there are quite a few flights between the airports in here, but I can't quite figure out which the preceding flight up to GOT was from CPH. So again if someone has a timetable covering October 2004 I might be able to figure this out.

I based it on the preceding 8K arrival at YYT, and it should make sense unless @Adam Smith mentioned a crucial detail in their routing that I may have missed. It would be nice to have his opinion to confirm this finding. But I'm guessing that the hourlong turnaround could be due to crew change since the aircraft involved could've been flying milk runs the whole day.

There could be several reasons that single flights were not tracked. One of them is that the files uploaded to the ACARS groups were only 64 KB in size, which is why flights with high flight numbers (VY1234) or high registration numbers (SE-ABC) were often not reported.

Regarding your timetable request please find some files attached hoping they will help you.

It's a pity that Flightera had no data for C-GLXV between June 10 and 16. However, we know that two flights, AC7807 (C-GAAT) and AC7787 (C-GLXV), arrived at YQX the previous night.

AC7807 YYR-YQX 19:50-22:13 https://www.flightera.net/en/flight_details/Air+Canada/AC7807/CYYR/2018-06-10

AC7789 YYT-YDF 06:40-07:55
AC7788 YDF-YYT 08:10-09:19
AC7783 YYT-YQX 09:35-10:23
AC7784 YQX-YYT 10:45-11:33 cannot be C-GAAT

YQX departure time cannot be C-GAAT https://www.flightera.net/en/flight_details/Air+Canada/AC7803/CYQX/2018-06-11.
Most of them are simple out-and-back., YHZ-YYG-YHZ etc. So if we get one direction, we get the other. But YHZ, YQX, and YYT were sort of mini-hubs for EVS, so usually not possible to say that xxx-YHZ left as YHZ-yyy.
Following this logic, the aircraft should fly YYT-YQX-YYT, not YYT-YQX-YYR.

After discovering that 8K had other BEHs that were barely tracked on Flightera, I'm kinda reluctant to decipher the other missing flights because what if they were operated by untracked regs like C-FPUB?

Thank you. Looking at this, SK0433 came from GOT at 08:05, the plane model matches and likely turned around as SK0430 back to GOT. My recollection from flying this route over many years was that this was often the case. However given that CPH is a hub the aircraft could of course have gone on to service another route, but looking at the data it doesn't appear again until many hours later when it's flying CPH-LHR, enough time to do another round trip to GOT. So I will cautiously call this solved.

However a question for Jan1991, is there a risk something got wonky when you worked on this data or is the source data wrong? Because it has SK0430 as CPH-ARN for all of October 2004 before it becomes correct for Novmber but looking at the timetable link above, SK0430 was always CPH-GOT

This is a general problem / risk when dealing with (legacy) ACARS logs.

When running ACARS receivers in the early days, all you got was the ACARS message with hexcode (air craft designator), call sign and / or flighnumber.
when running a log, you needed to have (local or remote) lookup files to map the call sign or flight number into a track, before writing your complete line into your log.
(mind we're in 2004 with no real time API lookups, etc.)
These local or remote lookups weren't always up to date or correct. Especially at times when flight number / tracks changed, its common to have wrong tracking in ACARS log files.

The typically only reliable data in ACARS logs is callsign / flightno, the hexcode if displayed and the date / time (+ location signature if applied by the user)

Missed one in my previous post, the following can also be considered solved, SK0430 which is the incoming CPH-GOT flight was in the data, and this one would have turned around as SK0441 back to CPH.
