These flights seem to fill the gap since yours wasn't tracked. I checked the movements at SYD on that day, and got the tail number for each consecutive departure after 16:37 via 2009 ACARS and 16Right. All tail numbers were found to have been somewhere else at the time of QF728/729, if not used a different aircraft type. QF805 was the first B738 flight to not have an entry on 16Right, so I traced its would-be path and got QF719 since there were way fewer flights. On 16Right, VH-VXN's only activity was QF503 and the timings perfectly match to make space for the AYQ flights.
